How much labor should I be charged to replace both hood hinges?

My passenger side got the infamous bent hood hinge issue. So every time I try to open up my hood, it rubs against the right fender. The body shop recommended that I replace both hinges in which I plan doing. I already bought both OEM hinges online.

But the auto body shop that I went to quoted $425 to replace both hinges. I think this is an expensive price. What do you guys think? I'm located in VA is that matters.

Just grab a buddy so you have an extra pair of hands and DIY. IIRC they're just held on by 2 bolts each, should be a simple job. I'm not by the car or I'd run out and check. Let us know how it turns out.

+1 It is super simple. I did it alone but it'll be much easier to align with 2 people. $425 is a rip off!

Wow, that is one dishonest shop, $425 is a rip. Even the dealer would quote an 1-1.5 hours for this. Take it to another shop and explain to them it's only a few bolts each side. Here is a DIY
