I'm sure if you fill your tank and drive 300 miles 65-70 MPH you will see much better results. I use WaWa gasoline and fill up before the light comes on usually at the 1/4 mark.

tire pressure is good, trunk is empty, ill try filling up before the light comes but dam that gas gauge is inaccurate... i drive 10 miles gauge is almost at 3/4 line lol

Check your brakes to make sure there's no dragging and that your parking brake is completely disengaging. You could also have worn wheel bearings adding drag to your rolling efficiency. The front wheel bearings aren't known to be terribly durable on these cars.
its an 03 6spd coupe, previous owner just changed oil he said 10w30 syn. recently checked brakes while adjusting ebrake cable and theres no drag, the bearings seem fine no noise and wheels spin freely.

In theory you'd get more mpg because you'd have better airflow at any given throttle position, but yer ecu will just adjust for the extra air by dumping extra fuel. You would have more power (negligible) at, for example, 50% throttle which would allow you to take your throttle position back to ~49% and that WOULD in theory give you better mpg, but good luck trying to meter that.

Try cleaning yer MAF. It's not likely gonna cause that big of a drop, but it might help a little for the time being.
