I can't see the pics but I know the cops aren't big fans of the blue LEDs, $155 ticket when I had mine and pulled over twice in two weeks before I took them out

had green in my other car for over two years and never pulled over once.....
I'll prob just end up trashing them anyways. My goal was just tail lights without all the other crap on.

Already changed them back. Now I have the sides running with tails which I'm ok with for now. They were just too blue for my liking. I want to keep the coupe as clean as I can.
I might end up disabling the sides as well as all I want are the rear tail LEDs on during the day.

They shouldn't mess with you. Assuming you're in SoCal or even Arizona (judging by your pics), you should be fine as I'm running 6Ks for my strip lights and low beams. Mind you I'm in VA too.
In the day and age of the DRL you don't want DRL's? Mine are always on lol.
Up to Your preference man!
Green is an "Allowed color" by most jurisdictions. It's red and blue that are "illegal."
question for you. I decided to jump in and break the lights open for some mod goodies. Are you reheating and using the factory glue with pressure to reseal them after your done? Or did you buy a whole new set of adhesive?
When I got pulled over for mine it was specifically because they were blue and blue lights are only allowed for emergency vehicles. First time got pulled over, the cop was a reall *** hole. I'm in Louisiana so not sure if laws are different for you guys.
Keep in mind that blue lighting is not only illegal in most jurisdictions, it's also puts considerably less usable light on the road. In one quick headlight bulb change, you can cut your headlight's usefulness in half, while simultaneously doubling your likelihood of getting pulled over.

Not using them as headlights, I believe they call them city lights, that little tiny bulb that comes on when you turn on the fog lights, I think it's a 194 bulb.
