370z exhaust on g35 coupe
370z exhaust on g35 coupe
I'm getting a 370z exhaust system for my 2003 g35 coupe. It's gonna be from the midpipe to muffler. My question is, will it fit on the stock g35 you pipe or do I need a different you pipe?. Also, would a 370z y pipe fit on my car with out any problems? Or CEL coming on? Just trying to get some info so I do it right the first time. My stock exhaust got crushed from being snagged on a metal speed bump at my work. This is my work car so I'm not looking to get any gains. I was offered the exhaust for only 100. Thx in advance for the help.
I know for a 350z exhaust, an extension is needed so I guess you'd need one with the 370z exhaust too. Although you're getting it for $100 you might need to spend more to make adjustments to make it fit and then at the end you'll have a frankenstien exhaust with no real advantage.
Consider picking up an oem exhaust as people sell them cheap/sometimes throw away.

I looked for a stock oem system but can't find any. I live on the big island of Hawaii, so there is not any Infiniti things for sale. I figured I'd take the offer for the 370z system. I researched a little and didn't find out that I would need extensions a so on. Anything is better at the moment compared to what mines sounds like. Not looking for gains either, it's just my work car. But would it fit the stock y pipe? Or do I need to get a different one?
