Fuel Guage is Killing me!! HELP!

Hello All!

I need some help..

I have a 06 G35 coupe, and i just replaced the Fuel sensor sending unit (the sensor behind the driver side) and now my needle is waaay behind the E marker with half a tank!! Is there a way to reset the Fuel Gauge on a 2006 G35 Coupe?

Thanks !!

So..

I Did a Gauge check and and Self Diagnose on the car and got back "5 slow Flash's" of the Service Engine Soon Light. also the gas Gauge didn't move at all.. I'm guessing the fuel pump level sensor is screwed. any suggestions?

I'm thinking i may just replace the pump all together..

Page 19, you can unplug the fuel sender harness on the top of the fuel pump and use a meter to test the resistance of the fuel level sender, 3 ohms for a full tank, 80 when it's empty. If it's reading the correct resistance then the problem is farther upstream, maybe wiring or the combination gauge is fried. My bet is the fuel sender crapped out though (or the float arm broke), test anyways.
