worried about pinging/knocking

Hello I have a 2006 G35 automatic with 71000mi.
Car runs strong but I am really worried about the pinging I hear.
I did 5000mi so far since I got it.
So this is the situation. Push down the driver window, if I am at low rpm (between 1000 and 2000) low speed, with a high gear like 3rd or 4th pushing on the throttle produces a pinging/light knocking sound up to 2500 rpm. This is amplified if driving during a very hot day and uphill for example. Does not seem to happen if engine is cold.
I am very worried. I use 91. I could try with an octane booster but the engine has knocking sensors so this should not happen.
Anyone had this problem ?

I Add some details. Over 2500rpm the pinging/clcking disappears.
it does not show wen the car is idle or when it is stopped in neutral (N) and you act on the throttle.
No pinging at all then. Only when you drive with high gear like 4th or 3th at very low rpm then pinging occurs.

It's a common problem with the motor, light load partial throttle ping. As far as I'm aware there is no actual solution other than a tune to modify the fuel map. Get it on an OBD2 scanner that can datalog (bafx Bluetooth OBD2 + Android app Torque Pro for example) and drive for a while with data logging on for you upstream O2 sensors just to verify A:F ratio isn't all screwed. It's probably fine since you aren't throwing any error codes right?

Ensure no vacuum leaks by spraying gasket areas and intake fittings lightly with throttle body cleaner, shouldn't affect idle, if it does then you have a leak. Remove PCV valves and ensure they "rattle" when you shake them.

Mine lightly pings , only below 3500rpm and only with light throttle. Even had it checked at the dealership and they too said it was normal.

I suspect I have the same problem of yours. Yes always below 3000. And it does not happen always btu most of the time with slight throttle pushing but only at very low rpm and high gear like 3rd. What I was worried about is not to damage the engine.
Do you think a octane booster could help ? In Europe these cars run with 95 or 98, not 91.
But here in CA I cannot find 91.

Probably a different measurement of octane, that sounds REALLY high. I've tried octane booster (seafoam) and it made no difference whatsoever.
