How can i know how my car was lowered?

just as the title says, my 04 g35 coupe was lowered when i bought it and im not sure how to tell what method or parts were used to lower it. Its not lowered much but clearly sitting lower than other stock Gs. What should I be looking for to figure out how it was lowered? I know sometimes the coils are replaced or coilovers used but what should i be looking for?
thank you

It would be difficult to tell if you don't have the wheel off.

Just take the wheel off and look at the strut. If there are no threads on the lower portion of the strut then they are just springs on stock or aftermarket struts. If there are threads then you are looking at a adjustable coilover setup. Another tell tell sign is the lock washers used to lock the pretention and coilover height.

If it's just slightly lower it's probably just springs. If you don't wanna take the wheel off you can shine a light and peek in the wheel arch. Should be able to tell right away if it's sprigs or coils.
