Engine Knocking?
Most high performance vehicles are dead by 200k, this is nothing new. A mild commuter will see 250-300k but something that's wound tight from the factory like the G only has a life expectancy of 150-200k.
Same with the camaro, corvette, challenger/charger, any Audi S#, etc. They're not built for longevity as a primary focus, they're built for PERFORMANCE. A well maintained vehicle that isn't pushed hard will exceed the 200k cap but there is a direct inverse relation between the throttle % and the life expectancy of the motor.

Unfortunately, I think mine is about to become a victim of the same issue. I recorded a video similar to the one the OP posted and it has the same noise.
I have had oil consumption issues for the past 2-3 years or so and it is getting worst. I havent drove 2k miles yet and had to put in 2 quarts already.
130K on an 06 AT coupe. My favorite car to date and I had hoped to keep it until about 200k at least.
I do still have it under extended warranty and I am not due for my next visit to the dealer until December. I plan to drop it off sometime late November and try to see what I can get covered. If they do great! If not, I am in the market for a G37 or a Q50.

Best advice I can give folks is to shop EARLY for a replacement motor, if you start noticing core mechanical issues (OC becomes increasingly bad over the years) then keep your eye open for a donor motor. Many times you can find a wrecked donor with under 100k for a VERY reasonable price. Get quotes on japanese import engines, call everyone in town who deals in used motors, get a feel for how the whole process works and what to expect. As soon as you find a suitable replacement then buy it and do the swap BEFORE your vehicle is dead on the side of the highway.
