Tbs actual difference

Ok so i know alot of people on this forums are going to disagree with me heavily.. after reading all the other posts on tbs i know it's not going to give me any gains what so ever. But anyways i decided to install one after my 5/16 md plenum spacer because even tho i felt gains, i still felt laggy when i got on it since im at auto. But after i installed a tbs i got way better throttle response at the beginning. So it does work on acceleration. Does anyone have this?. And i know it's not placebo effect.

Did you perform any relearn procedures after installing it?

I just slapped it on and tried it out. I was thinking of resetting the throttle body but it feels like it made the md 5/16 spacer come to life.

i always reset my ecu after major upgrades, and yes i noticed throttle response increase with my spacer. get a grounding kit (make sure it has AT grounds) to help with lag, or if youre rich get the transgo valve body upgrade

That tricky ECU

1. Ignition "ON", count to 3.
2. Depress/Release pedal 5 times...hard and fast.
3. Count to 10 (not 7!) and fully depress pedal
4. Count to 12 (SES should be blinking), release pedal
5. Count to 10, depress pedal
6. Count to 10, release pedal.
7. Turn off ignition, then start engine. Done!
