Possible G35 Problem...Please help

Possible G35 Problem...Please help
I just picked up my G35 a few days ago and noticed a few things.
First, the [censored] **** seems to vibrate a lot regardless if I am in gear or not. If feels like a mini massager. My old Prelude never did that.
Second, when I am in fist gear and step on the clutch to put the car in neutral the rpm meter jumps. For example, I could be in first gear at 1000 rpm then step on the clutch the rpm might jump to 1500 even though my foot is off the gas pedal.
I just wanted to know if other 6mt G35 drivers have the same experience or if my car might have some problems.
Thanks guys....for any input you may have.

Re: Possible G35 Problem...Please help
shifter **** vibration ... hmmm ...really subjective, I suggest comparing it to others in a lot, if possible.
SECOND
I think this may be normal to some degree ONLY because of the throttle by wire accuator sensing there is a change...
therefore when the clutch is pushed in it releases the LOAD of the throttle to maintain a running rpm in first.
(hence the quick jump for a second)
hope all's well.

Shifter vibration...
I've heard from other people that this is normal for RWD cars. Can't explain the exact reason why. My 240sx does it, and if I remember correctly, I think my old MR2 did it as well (only had it for 3 months).
The shifter on my 240sx wags more than vibrates, really. If I chopped it down to half its size, I'm sure it'd vibrate just as fast.

the frist "problem" is characteristic of when the shifter is directly connected (solidly connected) to the transmission. The Accord platform ('Lude included) use a cable linkage shifter, which isolates the shifter from vibrations.
The WRX shifter vibrates a lot also. Subaru put soft rubber bushings to absorb most of the vibes.
In all...nothing to worry about...just don't rest your hand on the shifter
