There's a 2007 coup rebuilt title with 149000 miles it listed as 5500 but we agreed to 4800 I'm having second thoughts should I buy it https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/cto/d/2007-infiniti-g35-coupe/6534023525.html
The sellers an idiot
He didn't even bother to take actual pictures He s using the pictures from the auction
I know because I buy cars from there and since there's no visible damage on the pictures and He s hiding the front there's going to be frame damage
Here in California you'll need
Brake n light inspection.
Vin inspection
Smog
And pay the fees to register he car with a salvage title

My G has a rebuilt title and I've had minimal problems for the past 6 years. I would imagine that problems would have showed up by now from the accident it was in. I had it fully inspected by my mechanic and he gave it a clean bill of health. Depending on when the accident happened, it really doesn't take much for the car to be considered a total loss. The car also needs a state inspection in order to get the rebuilt title. I'm not recommending buying a salvaged car, but not every one is a loss. If it was a front end collision, I'd be more concerned about the engine etc.
The washington state patrol inspection is easy to pass, we get salvaged vehicles ALL the time here. I would pass because it's been in two collisions, one was at least $4k in damages, the mileage is high so you're probably going to need to sink a bunch of time/money initially into bushings, bearings, struts, etc just to get the suspension and drivetrain up to factory condition.
i'd say skip this one... it took me a little while to find my G, but i paid $5k for a clean 1 owner, 03 coupe with good history and 125k miles... who knows what this is hiding but for that you can find something better
It's 2005 white g35 83000 miles salvaged in 08, it's got cosmetic issue but you can't really tell all the time but there is some rust, the bumper needs to be re painted but a full paint job is the last in my list.
A 3 year old G35 declared a total loss is a substantial amount of damage though, likely $15-20k. That usually means complete body damage OR flood/fire/etc.
