HELP! Scratched wheels
I originally posted this in the wheels section, but I figured I'd repost it here since it seems more people are on this forum...

OK,
So much for parking by the curb, being the clutz that I am I have scratched all four wheels... each wheel has between 2-4 small scratches on them (the scratches are black) and to me they are very noticeable..
IS there anything i can do about this, is there touch up paint available from infiniti, or can i use some sort of polish (an infomercial comes to mind..
) or perhaps I should go ahead and get my wheels dipped in chrome since I was contemplating doing that anyway..

If you cannot stay away from the curbs now i wouldnt get the rims dipped. You will be a lot more upset after you get chrome rims and F*$# them up. Get em repaired and stay AWAY from the CURB!!!

I let my mother use my coupe for Mother's day. She ended up swerving to miss hitting a dog and scratchd the right front rim and the lower portion of the bumper. I was thinking of maybe having the paint completely stripped off all the wheels and doing the polished aluminum look.

Hmm would it be better to do the polished aluminum look versus dipping the rims ? anybody already done this ? I can't belive that the slightest scratch leaves these big black marks.. i guess these wheels are painted? I mean even my POS '93 integra when the wheels are scratched its a silver scratch so hardly noticeable.
