If you are serious about this post, you just got owned. I mean seriously owned by the dealer. You should have paid about $36,000 for your options elsewhere (and thats not even a great deal, just above average good deal). I'd back out if I were you.

In the So-Cal Market you got a good deal. Nice Options on the car good luck. Dont mind the others, if you get your car and are happy then i guess thats all that matters..

I guess it all depends which dealer you go to, but my uncle, who lives in Diego got an 05 6MT, premium, performance, with all the options, ext. warranty, lo-jack, touch of class and other small things for 37K. I paid 36K for mine and the only diff w/ mine and his is the navi and mine is a 5AT.

38 is not that bad, like someone said, if you are happy with the deal that you got, and it's not going to put a big hole in your pocket, then it's fine.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. A member comes to this board to see if he's getting a fair price on a car that's not on demand and you're telling him it's okay to get screwed and just be happy? I admit some of the comments posted so far might be a little harsh but it's the truth. In all honesty, the dealer is taking advantage of you due to your poor negotiation skills. Unless this is the only dealership in your state and you're willing to pay full MSRP for a car you can purchase for at least $1k-1.5k less, cancel your order and get your deposit back. Get some online quotes before going to any dealership and definitely take a better negotiator with you. Don’t rush your purchase and don’t be afraid to walk.

I have to agree with Espresso. The dealer is taking advantage of you. Get your $500 back. There are dealers out there that will discount the car around $2,000 that may ship from another state for around $800-$1000 so you be $1000 ahead. Try Grubbs Infiniti in Texas, or go to infiniti.com and search for other dealers near you. Most will e-mail you quotes. Never pay MSRP! Judging from your post, you are young and foreign. Take someone older, fluent English speaking person with you to help you negotiate. Car salesmen will eat you alive if you can't negotiate. Good Luck and be firm!

I asked the dealler if he can give me a deal on my car. he said i only can give you discount on the automatic transmtion.but if you want 6mt i can't because it comes with 19's and with sport suspintions. but the auto doesn't!

He told me that if i ordered the auto one he can discount $2000 from the price and neither the 6mt

Wow, that's a horrible price... I walked out because they wouldn't go lower than $36,235 and I live in NorCal; more expensive than where you are.
