2003 spoiler light is 18"....but if your are looking for a generic brake light...the light will be pointing down unless you tilt it somehow.
I just repaired the third brake light myself and now plan to remove the spoiler light for repair as well.

When I replaced mine I couldn't find any until I stumbled upon this site. It's a best kept secret apparently.
