Stone Interior- Stains

I just came back from the dealership and the sales man was telling me that if I spill coffee on stone seats, they will leave a permanent stain. He said that no shampoo or stain remover will get it completely out.

I was wondering if anyone with a stone interior can tell me how hard it is to keep the interior clean and remove stains.

hmm, i haven't heard this yet. even if this is true, i'd just go buy some plastic mats to cover up the carpets.

keep in mind, the sales guy really doesn't know much about auto detailing...........they just want to make the sale and try to be the "pro" at everything.......to keep ahead of the customer

Yup, on day 2 of owning the car: I splilled my morning joe on the stone interior. By the time I got to work, it was mainly dry. Paper towell and water, and it was clean. No problems here
