I was wondering how I could get the best price for my 04 g35coupe 5at for a 05 g35 coupe 6mt?

My car has less than 10,000 miles.
It’s in perfect condition
It been only hand washed.
Detailed professionally at 5,000 miles
No accident
No dents

dont trade it in!!! sell it on autotrader or something...

 

haha im in the same boat man. I have an 04 AT, and yes, i do regret (understatement) not getting a 6mt. Im looking to sell mine and get a 05 6mt in the fall or towards the end of the year when they r getting rid of them. Definately sell it on autotrader and im sure with your car, you can get around $32k+. Then when you buy the 05 6mt, the out the door price with tax and fees is gonna cost you at least $40k, so be prepared to shell out around $8k.

If you don't mind me asking, why did you regret getting a 5AT? I think they each have their ups/downs.

I know when I commute to work, an automatic would be easier on me than a manual tranny (which is what I will mainly use this car for)

 

well, i am seldom in horrible, back to back traffic. Also, some of my friends have G's and Z's and they have 6mt's. I just feel a little weird around them with a 5AT. Plus i love the 05 additions - interior, rims, i want nav this time.

 

Here I am reading more people planning on trading to the 05. I have a 04 with under 3k miles and dont know what to do to get the 05.
