Can a muffler delete system fit in my trunk?

Hello, i need to transport a muffler delete system with a Y PIPE that is still connected to the resonator so it basically can bolt on to the next car. I was wondering if it can fit in my trunk with the seats down or would i need truck/SUV? thanks

If you drop the seat and cover the center console it may fit. Worst case you can always leave it hanging out the back a bit.

I'd guess no but it'd be close. The start of the y-pipe is pretty much dead even with the transmission mount, which is not too far back from the shifter mechanism, so I'm thinking without some clever maneuvering it's going to be resting on your head for the drive home.

Leave the trunk open and let it stick out. Or just disconnect the exhaust in the middle, should not be more than 8 bolts if its a dual system.
