Hey there guys so my whole lh curtain airbag system is down bought it like that from previous owner stealership is quoting me a ridiculous 4000 for the parts and labor(btw that’s almost the amount I paid for the car)
wondering if all coupe years curtain airbags are interchangeable regardless of years bc I saw some cheap used one on eBay. Also needs a sensor and module.

Yeah I think all SRS airbags equipment is interchangeable as long as it's from the same chassis (coupe/sedan). Fortunately the system is a standalone setup, if your diagnostic control module (brain box in the console) has been in an accident it must be replaced but there is no dealership programming, just install all the parts with the battery disconnected and once it's 100% hook the battery up and turn the key to ON, it does a self-check every time you turn the car on.
Diagnostic control module, driver airbag, seatbelt switches, seat airbags, etc can be from either chassis. It's possible the side curtains are as well but I've never compared them.
