Q45 vs G35c 0-60
Q45 vs G35c 0-60
Well, I own a 2002 Q45 with 340 hp and a new G35c. My Q45 has been reviewed for a 0-60 timing at 5.8. My understanding is that my G35 coupe (auto) is rate at a flat 6.0 for 0-60. I know there is a substantial horsepower difference and my Q is awfully fast, but is it really possible that my big Q will beat my G? My 17 year old daugther who borrows both cars occasionally and very rarely, says the G has a stronger acceleration. I think its just speed perception because of the size of the cars.. As a side note she loves to speed, thats why I bought her a 4 cyl Passat. Anyway, would you guys who like to race ever consider trying to out do a Q? I am not losing sleep over this, but just curious.

The Q probably is faster in a straight line. But if you put a few curves in that path, the G will eat the Q for lunch.

Line em up sometime and let us know. I would think it'd be a close race. The Q's got more torque and hp but more weight too and not as good gearing. It would probably depend on the launch.

It would be a pretty close race between the two. The 2003 Infiniti Q45s are faster than the 2002 Infiniti Q45s. The 2003 model year has a higher final drive ratio of 3.133:1, compared to the 2002 Q45 with a final drive ratio of 2.764.
