Who SOUNDS faster? What's up with that? You know I'm faster, why does sound have to come into it!

I recieved my cast Crawford plenum today when I got home from work. I'm planning on installing it this weekend. Is there anything that I should look for when doing the install other than the wiring loom?

do NOT overtighten any of the screws.. i actually broke one in half before :P um.. dont drop anything? I kept dropping stuff but the engine parts saved them And.. as i posted on the othet thread.. the two top middle bolts are a bit difficult to screw in if you don't get it right the first time. Meaning, the first time i screwed them they were perfectly fine. Then i realized my "oilflap" thing was under the plenum so i had to remove all the bolts and start all over again.. ugh! And because of that, i had a lot of trouble rescrewing in the top 2 bolts. Other than that, follow the instructions and you will be good to go!

This maybe a silly question. I got mine last Friday, haven't had time to install it yet. I like the black powdercoating but can you paint the plenum with high-heat engine paint?

Plus, I'll have to cut my engine cover (which is custom painted) to fit over the crawford plenum.

All I have to say is, be glad I'm going to Texas! We coulda had a shoot out at the track that one night, but my notice was short, I know. You're a cool guy and you and your lady will be missed. Take care and I'll see you here on the forums. I'll be posting new pics and videos as soon as I'm settled in and find out where all the tracks are.

Sweet bro,

You need to take a picture of you're street sing with the car next to it.
That would be pretty funny. well maybe one day we can run on the track.
Whats the elevation there?
