Please help car went into limp mode now doesn't start at all!!!
If you were doing the work without disconnecting the battery then you almost certainly fried something. Start working the the fusible link there are like 10 fuses in it.
You may have a failing alternator, I would also strongly recommend getting the car checked with an OBD2 scanner for hidden codes because I don't think having the instrument cluster disconnected will cause limp mode. If it's a failure to start when the engine is HOT that is almost always a bad starter solenoid.

So what was the problem? When you post an issue, find a solution then delete all relevant posts you take away a chance your experience could help someone else with the same problem. That's one of the main reasons this forum exists.
Yeah this is silly. Imagine everyone doing this. Thread now has zero context and the remaining posts make no sense. Kind of defeats the purpose. Thread may as well be deleted.
