Well when i started this thread it was for the blue/white emblems only. i am not sure whats going on now. but i did PM nuttyprof and this is what he said.

hes waiting for the guy to email him back but they will be here by the weekend. We are going to do a group buy because the person would not deal with 19 people separately. and we are going with the method he proposed with the premier member collecting the money.

and yeah and he "[doesnt] know what company he is from, but only that he imports lots of emblems and other JDM parts".

that should answer alot of your questions.

There are two problems with this scenario (individual):

-Does not want to use Paypal
-Is undisclosed

I will tell you, whoever is the intermediary of this transaction, will be liable to all of those who have paid. My rough math tells me our elected delegate will be legally liable for $600.00. Therefore, if our dark and shadowy, anonymous, emblem toting friend disappears, Nuttyprof will legally be obligated to indemnify those that paid. That is, if he decides to act as the “agent” in this transaction.

Further, I want to see what this individual is selling, and who he is. Perhaps, a picture of a new set, in box. Personally, I have searched high and low for a year and NOBODY has these R34 fender emblems in blue or red. They are simply not available. I spoke to a man who has a set on his vehicle and he confirmed that these are no longer available here or abroad.

Paypal is the most rational transaction. If this person does not agree to use Paypal, he should not be dealt with, ever. If this individual has any legitimacy, he will openly transact through Paypal. The small transaction fees incurred are irrelevant. The exorbitant selling price of these fender emblems should offset the small fees that this “guy” would incur.

if i act as an agent, and this guy doesnt come through with the emblems, cant we just refund the money to the members? that is why i am having another member collect the money so as to protect myself from getting stuck with a million emblems and nobody paying me for em.

also, it seems he has red/white, blue/white, and polished emblems all in the shield design (R34). They are the original pieces, not replicas.

also, i will be paypaling him the money so that i can always get my money back if i get screwed. i dont think anybody wants to send out 19 emblems in different boxes to different addresses.

i will try to have more solid info. meanwhile, can we start a new list of everyone who is in on this. not just people who put down their name? or can someone start collecting some money for this?

thanks guys. cant wait to get my emblems on my car. =)

nuttyprof... Since you are the "broker"(sorta ) wouldn't it make sense for you to collect the funds by paypal? Also, what is the total with shipping?

New list?

1. EG35- Polished emblem

I contacted Unlimitedtuning.com and the easiest way to obtain these emblems is to send them an email requesting to be "put on the list." Trying to negotiate the price on these rare items will be futile. Simply ask for Michael and tell him you want these. Follow up with an email to confirm your interest:

info@unlimitedtuning.com

Further, I recommend that the rest of you eighteen that expressed interest in these submit your email of intent as well.

ok. after some Pm'ing, i think i can just collect the money if the mods have no problem with it. i will only take paypal though so its easy for me to refund if it doesnt go through and also so i will have funds on hand to send instantly instead of waiting for a slow e-check. please email me. fongpbs@yahoo.com if you want in on the 40 shipped emblems. and my paypal account doesnt take credit card. only direct account transfers.
