Lightbulb NISMO Exhaust

I have been wanting an exhaust that is just slightly louder than stock and from reviews it seems that the Nismo is the best option...and it just so happens that I came across a local ad for a NISMO Exhaust for $700 The exhaust off a 2007 V6 Altima Sedan Automatic, less than 200miles on the system.

Would this exhaust fit? I know the 350z nismo exhaust fits with an extension however, I haven't found any info on this one.

Also, what should you expect to pay for a used nismo exhaust?

Don't think I've ever heard of anyone trying to make those compatible. Similar engines... hmm.

I’m having a hard time even finding out any info. If this thing actually existed specifically for the 3.5 sedans.

I find a lot about 2008 but that’s when they introduced the Altima (technically 07 whatever) but this is for the 07 sedan. I don’t see why it wouldn’t fit

Completely different exhaust and won't work without serious modification by a muffler shop.

Altima is a transverse mounted V6 front wheel drive.

G35 is an in-line mounted V6 rear wheel drive.

Completely different chassis, Altima is the L/D32 chassis, your G35 is the V35 chassis.

EDIT: Just realized you have a coupe: However they both use a SIMILAR motor, it's not the EXACT same VQ35DE that game in the G35 though, the motor mounts are cast into a different location on the block and there's a few extra differences as well.

ahh okay, Thank you! it was difficult to find any of that info, i'm still surprised that they even made a nismo exhaust for the altima (unless it was actually for the maxima originally)

Nissan likes to make Nismo variants of pretty much all their vehicles, it's one of the great things about the manufacturer, they aren't afraid to make a performance version of ANYTHING.

Look up the Sentra SE-R spec V sometime, 6MT, helical LSD, brembos, in a shitbox 4 door compact platform Man those things were fun to drive.
