I have a 2006 Infiniti g35 coupe, last week I broke my camshaft sensor pigtail while replacing the camshaft sensor. After changing it the car drives fine but I have code P0075 and P0340. The car drives fine with no issues. The wire on the camshaft harness pigtail came out but I didn’t know the order of the wiring so I just place them in. I need help with the order of wiring what color goes where and I order a new pigtail.

 

You cannot order just the pigtail, find any VQ35DE equipped vehicle at a pick-n-pull and cut the harness off and splice it to your vehicle.

P0075 - IVT solenoid, did you unplug it? That code is for improper voltage which is usually a broken harness on the cam SOLENOID not the sensor.

P0340 - Cam sensor, this is expected since it's not wired up right now.

Check page EC - 386 of the FSM for pinout on the cam sensor harness.

Ok I was wrong, apparently they DO offer aftermarket harnesses, not sure which color is the bank 1 side off hand and I'm not going out in the snow to check so I'll let you decide which you need.
