Hey guys, I have G35 06' Coupe and the Check Engine light appeared for the Fuel Gauge problem. I need to do my test emission and I was wondering if clearing the code will pass it? I know for sure that after clearing the code, the check engine will not appear for 20-30 miles. I'm not willing to spend like 300-400 to fix a relatively minor issue. Thank you for your insight.

 

You should be fine, the fuel gauge isn't related to the emissions system

 

Over here, its an automatic fail if the check engine light is on.

 

Clear the code and drive around for a few days to see if/when the light comes on.
