I'm sure it's possible but isn't the 2JZ-GE a straight six? I would think it would require a somewhat generous engine bay to fit.

On the Top Secret VK45DE set up, what tranny did they mate it to? Was it a G35 6MT or a custom sequential? If I'm not mistaken, the VK series is based off the VQ series so maybe the G35 6MT would fit?

Q45tech, comments?

14k+?
You don't need a stroker kit unless you want more displacement. If you spend $7k beefing up the engine, you don't know what you're doing.

Plus stock 2JZ-GE won't hold its own against beefed up VQ35. 2JZ-GTE, however, is a totally different story. Also, the cheapest turbo kit I've seen on IS300's which use 2JZ-GE engines is around $5.5k.

Just think about countless labor hours that will go into that engine swap... I bet it won't be pretty. Plus you have to get custom driveshafts, engine mounts, modify the tranny tunnel maybe, new ECU, and countless more things. It's gonna cost you a fortune AND take forever to get it done. If you HAVE to do a engine swap, I suggest something from Nissan family.

But I still stand by my point that if you want power, just beefing up your VQ and adding forced induction is the most painless and inexpensive way. Any engine swap is a pain to deal with on our cars... It's not like Hondas where type-R engines drop in just fine without any problems.

If you wanted max power, you should have gotten a Supra... Supras are so easy to modify. Slap on a turbo kit and some sort of fuel management and you're good to go up to 500rwhp... want more power? Install big fuel system and you're good to go up to 900rwhp. GTE block is so damn overbuilt to the point it's not even funny
