06 Coupe seats in 03 coupe

Has anyone tried to put 06 coupe seats in an 03 coupe. I picked some up at LKQ got home and the passenger seat works fine, everything hooked up like normal but the drivers side male electrical connector coming from the body is a 12 pin connector, the one on the new seat is a 16 pin female connector. How can I get it to work it looks like I can still connect it up but on the sear connector there is a little partition so to speak that's in the way. According to wiring diagrams the extra 4 pins are for the memory seat which my 03 didn't have. I just figured that there has to be a way to make it work since the passenger side works.

12 pin plugged into old seat

16 pin on new seat
I'll see if I can get a pic of both together

Coupe 6-speed MT OEM Brembos, leather
I'm working with the OP on this. He went back to LKQ and got the donor ‘06’s 16-pin body harness connector (B7) that mates with the seat connector shown in SaltyChef’s second picture above. In the 2003 factory manual, the connector in the same location is called B6 (harness) and B321 is the unit connector (seat side).

B6 & B321 (2003) use 9 of the 12 pin slots. B7 & B321 (2006) use 13 of 16 pins. I’m thinking the 4 extra wires on the ’06 seat are there for the memory feature. So, what I’m thinking of doing is depinning the B6 (2003) connector in the car and replacing it with the B7 (2006) connector so it will connect nicely to the ’06 seat’s B321 connector. The issue is trying to figure out which 9 wires and where to push them into the B7 (2006) connector housing. Some seem obvious by looking at them. Looking at the 2006 factory manual, it appears they don’t show any detail for the seats with the memory feature. It only shows the schematic with the B6 connector, which is 12-pin connector for non-memory seats). Also, the wire colors shown for B6 (2006) in the factory manual don't seem to match the B7 connector pulled from the ’06 donor in all cases.

Any ideas? Are there any detailed wiring diagrams available anywhere for the memory seat version? The factory manual doesn’t appear to have it unless I'm not looking in the right place. Thanks!
