Going rate for a couple of install jobs

Planning on having a set of springs and a cat back installed. So far, I have a $300 quote from a local shop. Any opinions on how fair/unfair this is.

I was charged 1.5 hrs for my cat-back install, and 1.5 hrs to install springs sounds about right.
$300 might be a tad high.

If you shop around, you should be able to find someone who will install springs for $100. Maybe even find a local G35driver.com member and offer them some beer for the install...

In terms of exhaust, don't go to any performance shop or body shop; just show up at a muffler/exhaust shop like Meineke, and get it installed for $40.
