I've been reading that the red/white GT emblems means the Skyline is FI, and the blue/white GT emblems mean it's NA, but what do the all chrome GT emblems mean? Here's a couple of pics to show you the emblems I bought off of Ebay.

G's up...

Just wondering...Um, isn't putting an R32's badging on a G35 Coupe along the same lines as any ricer badging their ride with emblems that don't belong on it? People on this site bag on other drivers for falsely badging their rides, so I'm wondering how this is different? If the badges were the 350GT badges it would make sense, but these are R32 GT-R badges. I don't remember, but I don't think these badges are on the JDM brothers of the G35 Coupe.

At any rate, those badges look pretty damn sweet.

I bought them off Ebay for $18 Plus shipping. I bought them not knowing what they were, until I heard about the whole GT-R thing. So if these belonged to an R32, was it the NA R32? As far as the whole rice thing, I figured it would like nice on my 350GT, because it is a "GT". I'm not putting them on because it's the Skyline thing to do, I'm putting them on because they look sick! So as far as the rice thing goes...it's a good thing this isn't your rice! You eat your rice the way you like, and I'll eat my rice the way I like.

Thanks for all you inputs, but does anybody know for sure or have a pic?

I also have a set of the chrome/brushed GT emblems. i wanted the red/white for my car, but found these instead. what exactly does the chrome mean? do you guys think the red/white emblems would look better on a DG coupe or the chrome/ brushed like the ones posted above.

i might sell mine if i can get my hands on a red/white set if anyone is interested.

Why exactly do you buy stuff you dont know what they are? I wouldnt put that on my G no way. What you would be doing would be starting to rice up the G and that is something I'd hate to see someone do. I know this probablly wont stop you from doing it, but I think you will end up taking it away sometime in the future.

do you really think this is rice? personally i really hate when people rice out their cars, but i do not see this as doing that. The GT emblem really seems to go well in that spot IMO. it is similar to changing the emblems to skyline 350gt emblems. Is that rice? i think that the GT emblem looks awesome in the g coupe and that to me is not rice at all. personally, i would never change the infiniti emblems to nissan, but i really think that the GT badge looks great.

I agree with Vinny. I don't think the GT emblems are ricey at all. It's a nice clean addition to the 350GT. It's the same thing as changing your grill out, or adding nismo emblems. Don't get me wrong, I despise when people rice out their car, but to each his own. Ricey to me is installing a moped sounding exhaust, glitter tint, cutting your springs, hubcap spinners, etc. Basically any low quality aftermarket product used to give your car a different look. Everyone has their own flavor of rice. My flavor is "GT"!

See pics for examples of Ricey!

The G35 is the Skyline in Japan so its not RICE its just making it be what it is Over there. Adding GT emblem to your car is like adding VTEC on a honda or the red H.
