Got Nav to stay up... but won't turn on
I see a lot of discussion about Nav going up and down and up and down. Ok, so I did that 'push down' trick as Nav was coming up.
It stayed up. Hurray!
It did not turn on. Boo.
Is there a separate fuse for the motor and the display?
or are they tied together and still out of synch?
I'm a newbie in SoCal. 2005 w/premium package 6mt.
Thanks my brothers from another Datsun !

Check fuses 6 and 12 in the cabin Fuse Block - J/B. Both are 10 amp fuses, one powers the display screen one powers the DVD drive behind the glove box.
I'm not very familiar with the NAV system, I didn't want it on my G and have never really messed with it on others. I do know there's a self-diagnosis function on it like almost all other components on these cars. Hold the MAP and the "sun/moon" button for 5 seconds, then press PREVIOUS.
Steps for diagnosis are listed in the FSM, section AV - Audio/Visual
