I, like many others have been quietly observing and researching on this board for the past few months and am now a soon to be g35 owner! Ordered it from Infiniti of Marin for 1,100 over invoice. I had to do some massive internet/e-mail haggling but i got it down to what i believed to be a reasonable price. This was largely due to that extremely useful topic of buying tips and haggling tactics. Thanks guys, that topic alone saved me about $1500!

I still have the option to add the Aero Kit / Aero Package, however. Are these options worth adding? I dont know if im too big of a fan of the spoiler, but i do like the chin. Let me hear your guys' opinions!

If I were you, I would make sure you like the spoiler before you go for it. Not worth throwing money away ... Nice deal BTW .... I just bought one 2 days ago ... I went for the Aero kit myself .. I like the car with it .. best of luck man ..

 

Good deal. I personally love the spoiler, but i dont think i would pay the expense for the Aerokit just for the spoiler. After seeing the people on here posting about the Color matched spoilers for $250.00, thats the route im going with.

 

I don't like the spoiler. If you want to go for a more tasteful look...go for the lip spoiler. I think the stock spoiler of the G35 ruins the rear end, but the lip spoiler enhances it a bit more.

 

Yeah definitely leave the spoiler off for right now enjoy the car without it first then you can always add it later. I got them down to 1000 over invoice which was 2300 off MSRP, Hey im happy and they are happy.

 

I personally love the look of the back with the stock spoiler. I think it makes the back look much more sportier imo.

 

I like the stock spoiler and the built-in LED third brake light. Whenever I see a G without the rear spoiler, it doesn't look as sporty and I subconsciously think "base model" even when I really know it's not.
