Getting opinions... low mileage G35- italian tune up
Hey all-
Thought I would ask some of the more advanced technical members and drivers here for their opinion..
Picking up a 2005 6mt G35 coupe tomorrow with 88K miles on the odometer. It;s only been driven about 1000-2000 miles per year for the past 5 years. Wondering if you would be quick to do an italian tune up over a few days, or maybe slowly break it into some high RPM's over the next week or so. The drive home is 3 hours on the interstate at 85mph, depending on traffic.
Just curious how everyone would handle that.
Of course, there's always drive it like you stole it...
Thanks

I always bring an engine to near redline before purchase, if it can't handle max rpm for some reason then there is DEFINITELY something wrong with it.
After purchase that's a little different, no sense thrashing an engine unless you have to (or track use).
