Unhappy Best options for a 05' G35 Coupe transmission swap!!!

I need a new transmission for my G35 and I'm looking for advice from anyone who has more experience than me with, locating and acquiring a good transmission. I have had horrible luck with my transmission. Its been 2 years since the transmission went out and all the cars I've had in-between took a dump on me and I could sure use a helping hand ty.

If you can do the work, it’ll be a good swap-portunity. If manual, check your local marketplace for a CD009 350Z or G35 part out. Auto is different but part outs are a great place to get parts local, or the local yard.

6MT or 5AT?

6MT you can get a brand new CD00A for like $2800 from Nissan, or a used CD00A or CD009 for around $800 or so.

5AT there's a plethora of options, if you want a simple plug and play experience check the wiring harness on the left side, it's either got 3 harnesses (2 green 1 black) or a single large harness. Just make sure to get another RE5R05A from a 350Z, M35, or G35 with the same RWD or AWD configuration and you're good. No need to program the TCM if it's from a used transmission.

If you do end up getting the opposite kind of transmission you can just swap out the valve body/TCM from your transmission into the donor. However if your problem IS the valve body then you'll have the same problem.
