Ecu Questions

Hi, I’ve been having the problem of blowing the ECM Fuse (fuse #77 15A).

The car has been in the shop for over a week and they’re having a tough time finding the issue.

Im tuned right now, if I need a new ECU will the tune go away? How can I transfer the tune to the new ECU?

If you replace the ECU you will lose the license and tune. Basically have to start over. But, that's actually a good thing since you were originally tuned by admin...

I can help you out, shoot me a PM

Start by unplugging all your ignition coils, exhaust cam magnet retarder if you have the rev-up, intake cam actuators, EVAP solenoid, cam sensors, crank sensor, and MAF.

That's everything getting power from the ECM relay which is powered by fuse 77.

See if it will hold, start plugging things back in one at a time until the fuse blows.

If it won't hold even with everything unplugged then you have a wiring harness issue.
