Lets try this again and maybe I wont get advice that I dont need from some people.

My car is leased but I will most likely pay it off and own it at the end. I have about $500. How about some speakers, but keep the bose unit? How much does tint cost?

How about a clear bra? Good investment I've used on other vehicles-- keeping the front chips to a minimum. Tinting might be my #2 depending on where you live (sunny climes).

Now, about that "extra" money (er, refund)... (kidding of course-- didn't mean to hijack your other thread).

I think a good (with lifetime warranty) tint job should run you ~200

 

Hmmm! Well me I live in Atlanta and it gets pretty hot. I got tint on my G-Coupe less than 2 weeks after I had it. With 500 bucks I'd go Tint, then Z-Tube/K&N Filter. In that order. However I only had enough for tint at the time.

 

I would use it on lowering springs and a swaybar set.

 

I think the problem with the Ztube was the sound it produces (not necessarily a problem). Its just that I love the sound the car makes now and didnt want to make it sound differently unless it was better.


I have all the options including clear bra, but thanks for the suggestion. I wish I could cover the whole car in clear bra.

Ill probably go tint going into summer time. Plus I might be moving the car out to a little island I like to call Hawaii.
