I keep my cell phone in there once I take it off to answer a call. and a little travel thing of tissues.

Notebook for miles, gas used, etc. Misc items. Wallet sometimes, but my wallet key, oddly enough, is in my wallet, so I don't want to lock it in the car.

I have a Garmin StreetPilot. It is the older model that is not color, but the orange background color at night matches the interior colors of the car. When I take it to the dealership, they think it is the stock navigation system. Fits perfectly!!
