1st gear noise

I am new at G35driver and a new owner of a 05 coupe 6mt. I do not have any clutch chatter or any-other issues with 2,3,4,5 or 6th gear. My problem just realates to 1st. When I start in first gear I hear a rattling noise from when the clutch first starts to engage utill full engagement. NOTE: The Idle does not drop. It makes the rattling noise dispite how much gas i give it. The only way to avoid the noise is if I let up the clutch very slowly and give the car little gas utill full engagement. Does anyone else have this problem?. I read allot of other threads, but none seem to list this specific issue. I am wondering what your feedback will be. Could this be another normal noise comming from the G?. Maby it is because the car has only 200 mi. on it?. Thanks for your help.

Do a search on the subject here on any other G site. It is common. Infiniti considers it normal. It gets better with mileage. Nuff said...

I am not new at driving mt. Do you all think this is normal. The sound i get is not the same as what I have read. It only happens In first gear while staring from a stop. Again it is a rattling sound that happens from the point of clutch engagement. It almost sounds like i got metal ***** vibrating in a steal container.

I now many of you are tired of hearing about clutch noise, But i have not seen or read anything that seems to have this problem.

Your Imput would be greatly appreciated.

I have the rattle in 1st, took it in to the dealer and they said it was normal which sux. You can replicate this everytime in first when you are in 1st and let the rpm drop and while the rpm is dropping step on the clutch, it will rattle everytime. So to make it go away don't let the rpm drop when you are about to shift and you won't get the rattle.

I got the same rattle and my car is brand new. It doesn't even bother me anymore, I just turn up the Bose and live with it.
