Coupe for BELOW invoice (Atlanta area)
If you're in the Atlanta area looking to pull the trigger on a new '05 Coupe (as I just did), the market forces are in your favor. I just picked up a new G35 Coupe (5AT) for BELOW invoice. Infiniti (Nissan) is really working hard to make their end-of-fiscal-year numbers. Take advantage of it now if you're looking to buy before the 06's arrive.

It was less than $100, but still the best deal I could haggle based on my solicitation to 12 dealers in the Atlanta/Carolinas region. I sent a fax blast to all these dealers with my terms, and this particular dealer in ATL met the "challenge."
Depending on how you approach the deal, YMMV...

I had a cover letter detailing the exact car I was looking for (be very specific), the terms I was seeking, and that I wanted a response in 5 business days. Be firm, but respectful. I only received a response from 1/2 of the dealers, one of which had the best offer right off the bat.
It may work best if you search the dealer inventory via infiniti.com and see exactly what's in stock. In my case, the dealer I bought from did NOT have the exact car I was looking for, so they got one at another dealer (they swapped vehicles) about 20 miles away. They're far more willing to negotiate with in-stock vehicles (in your market) vs. ordering new.
I should also add that the dealership and salesman I worked with were fantastic. A totally positive buying experience that I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend to others. Just what I would expect from a luxury car dealer selling high-end vehicles.
Good luck.
