I'm curious if you can transfer the tire pressure monitor sensors from stock (whether it's 17", 18" or 19") set of rims/tires to an aftermarket set of rims/tires. Where is the tire pressure monitor located? Thanks in advance.

 

Its connected to the valve stem....and yes...you can transfer it. The shop should do it for free.

 

man, all this time I thought i had the tire pressure monitor sensor on my 6MT...only
to find that my aftermarket GT3's with no RF modules inside are funning fine with
no error indicator for the last 200 miles or so. hahaha. oh well.

unless tirerack secretly planted one in there for me... ???

Yes. The shop did that for me.
