I just got back from ramsey infiniti....spoke to *****..really great guy...they didn't have any coupes in stock so he offered me a test drive of a sedan...he let my gf and I test drive ourselves..he didn't come along...
I put a deposit down for a coupe...it is coming July...i have a few questions though...should i have gotten a VIN number..??...how do they know which coupe to save for me...??..should i have gotten anything else besides the deposit receipt and this yellow piece of paper that has my name, addrees, what kind of car...etc...
this is for a 6mt silver w/graphite loaded except nav...even got splash guards...
oh yea what order number is the july one..?? how does the numbers that i should've gotten look like..?

 

You won't get a VIN until the dealer get's the info from Japan, about the time it is ready to be shipped from overseas. You should be able to get an order number once the order has been placed by your dealer. I believe Infiniti places order the 1st of the month......so they may have taken your deposit, but you won't get an order number till next month, unless they have one on the way, in that case you should be able to get a VIN # sooner. Was your car a 2003 model?

jedi...this is a 2003 model...the coupe is coming july 16...i didn't place the order...the salesman had a list of coupes that were coming in june and july...i just picked one i like from the july shipment and put a deposit down...

 

The you definitely should have an order number at the very least. The VIN will come as I stated earlier. Good choice! [img]/w3timages/icons/laugh.gif[/img]
