Spoiler does not come with the Sport Package but as Infiniti's cars are pre-built and not "made to order", Infiniti usually equips the spoiler and/or aero kit with the optional Sport Package (which makes sense). I remember when I was looking for my Coupe a little less than 2 years ago, it was almost impossible to find ANY 6MT Coupe without the spoiler.
Even though Infiniti shows separate packages, they have only a limited number of combinations (for example you can not get navigation without the premium package). Try the build your car tool at the Infiniti web site, if it lets you build the combination, you've got a chance. I waited almost 3 months to get the combination I wanted (had it ordered & shipped, just drove it home tonight!)

Yeah I talked to a guy at work who just bought an 05 5AT with the sport tuned suspension. He's got the 3rd brake light inside the car in addition to the spoiler and when I asked if he wanted the spoiler installed additionally, he said that was how it came.... My '04 brochure says that the Aero Package requires 6MT or the Performance Tire & Wheel Package, yet I've seen TONS of Gs with 17" and spoilers.
I don't know why Infiniti doesn't do that, but in 00-01 for example you could only get a white Nissan Maxima with black leather interior if you special ordered it since it wasn't an available combination. That's why they're so rare. You can't do the same with the '05 coupes.

I specifically did not want that 3rd light so I ordered the car with the factory installed spoiler (and yes i had to wait 3 months). I will tell you this though, now that i have my back window tinted, it was probably a waste of effort, only under the most intense light can i see the back deck and seats.
now there might be one other difference between the true factory installed spoiler (rare) and the more common dealer installed (or port installed in some cases) spoiler, and that is warranty. in my case, it IS warranteed for the normal 4 years (actually 7 years [or 100k miles] since i purchased the extended warranty directly from infiniti). how about those that are dealer installed? in most cases with most cars if the dealer installs a part or accessory you get one year and thats it. anyone know how infiniti handles this case?

Maybe it's location specific, but I truly had my G35 made to order to my exact specifications.
