After having someone hit my car earlier this week and driving off, and reading the same stories on these forums... cars getting keyed, windows cracked...etc... Why do you think people do this stuff to our rides????

Jealousy? Boredom? Lack of decency?

As i get older i find myself being less tolerant and understanding of other people and believe in general that most people are just animals that know how to walk upright...

yea i hate when stuff like that happens, the worst thing is that you cant do anything about it.. i might install cameras on my car to avoid that, not sure how effective those are but oh well

Good question. I would like to find out more about cameras in cars. Seperate battery? I would love to catch some ******* in the act. I had my last vehicle 03 Dodge QC hemi keyed at work when I had my motorcycles in the back ready to leave for a weekend getaway. Some people are just jealous I guess.

 

recently i've seen a few cars keyed with BARBED wires. happened on my friends G and a truck i saw yesterday near a del taco. they're about 10x as thick and i saw it from hundreds of feet away :\

 

Jealousy and lack of self-worth. They think the owners of nice cars are all rich, and they don't take into account how hard a lot of people work and sacrifice to have a nice car.

 

I don't know.. But I was just at my brother's baseball game the other day. Come out to see a huge X on my hood on the right corner. Looks like they sat there digging at it because theres more than 1 scratch.. Theres like 4 in each direction *sigh*.. It went straight through the clear bra. Ended up buying my uncles CF hood.
