350Z Tein H Techs Installed. Pics and info inside<<<

ok just overview
2003 6mt coupe
225 45 18 front tires rear tires 245 45 18

after looking at all the springs the 350z Tein H Techs were the best in my opinion. I wanted a spring that handled better and rode good and I can honelstly say the ride quality is great and car handles better.

So now for the total drop. on the 350z it says .3 in front and .2 in rear but on the g35 its more.
BEFORE I LOWERED THE CAR FROM GROUND TO FENDERLIP IT MEASURED THE FOLLOWING
FRONT LEFT AND RIGHT 27 1/8 INCHES
REAR LEFT AND RIGHT 27 3/4 INCHES

AFTER DROP FROM GROUND TO FENDERLIP
FRONT LEFT AND RIGHT 25 15/16
REAR LEFT AND RIGHT 26 7/8

So the springs gave me a final drop of about 1 1/4 in front and rear about 7/8 inches.

NOW IN REAR YOU CAN LOWER IT WITH NO CUTTING OF THE SPRINGS HERES HOW. For me the rear needs to come like 3/8-1/2 inch more down which is no problem. In back when you remove the springs you will noitce the rubber bumpstop. Now on top just cut a straight line off the bumpstop on how much lower you want the car. 1/2 inch off the top of the rubber bumpstop will lower 1/2 inch when car is dropped

Anymore questions just ask away
here are the pics

you add .5 to the front and rear when installing z springs on a g. Therefore the advertised on these springs of .3 front and .2 rear turns into .8 front and .7 rear.

Cool, my springs arrived just an hour ago and I will be doing the same thing tomorrow. Hope it turns out just as good as people have been saying...ie ride quality and handling.

I just lowered mine with 350z springs & cutting the bump stop(big 'ol mess). Pictures don't do the difference justice. Our wheel wheels look like SUV's, with all the clearance our tires have. I think the new hieght is perfect. Not too low, just the right "match" between tire curve & wheel well curve.

Nice job.

I agree 1 inch drop on a monitor is hard to notice... unless the car is slammed then its pretty tough. As soon as I went to pick up my car when it was ready... I could tell... it was a huge difference, I just sat their for like 30 seconds looking at it

Hey IS, How about an OEM front chin spoiler? I think it'll complement the car nicely. I dont have the back OEM spoiler but I was looking at the front chin and Z springs or H-Tech's.

Norcal, I think you measured wrong. That's a helluva drop for the H Techs.
Here's a pic of mine.

NORCAL-My eyes keep focusing on that side molding on the IP. otherwise your car
looks fine...can't tell if it's lowered though.

Looks stock to me but if it rides nicer and you don't want it slammed then you did ok. I agree on the side molding though. It throws off the balance of the car.
