How to Get a good tint!!!!
i just bought an 05 coupe, black on black, and they didnt tint the windows in the back for me, i had two questions will it be out of warranty if i do it and how to know what a good tint shop looks like, because there are a lot of them aroudn here.

Tinting your windows does not void your warranty at all. The way I know a certain tint shop is a good place, is by asking around and checking out other people's tint jobs from different places. You can tell decently quickly if somebody received a bad tint job. The good, reputable place get passed around by word of mouth.
If the tint is metallic based, and you have Navigation and/or Satellite radio, be prepared for interference. There are many non-metallic based tints out there choose wisely and ask the shop questions.

in NYC..
I forget the name of the place in NYC (Brooklyn I think), but people say it's the best place on the East coast. Some one help me out with the name here...

Authorized installers of V-Kool or Huper Optik brand tints are usually excellent installers b/c these are high end tints. Maybe call/e-mail those companies and ask them for local installers. They usually have other tints besides those brands but the installers are the same.

Hope this helps NY locals.. I haven't stopped by any of these places yet so I can't say if they're good or not.. but I'm definitely going to visit some of these shops in the future when I'm ready to tint.

thanks for everyones help, by the way im in Fresno, CA. I did get it tinted but i should have gotten a 5% on the rear side windows and kept the back one 15% because anyone who has a G knows that it is really hard to get out at night in a crowded parking lot. So i decided a 15% all the way.
