CLEAR BRA ( light protection worth it )

Today after having my car for about 2-3 weeks I noticed two very small nicks in the bumper from rocks ( after washing ). That same day I ordered the clear bra-from 3m. I got the bumber/hood/fender and mirrors. Should I get the one for the lights to?. The reason I have not ordered them because I have yet had any problems with the lights on any of my prior cars. Have any of you had issues with chips or craks on your lights?. Do you guys think I should order the covers for the lights as well?.

Thanks for you help

Probably not, because even if rock chips flew as high as the light, it won't have an angle to hit it and do any dmg... but if you have left overs from the instalation... stick a few random pieces on? =P

getting it for the lights would be beneficial to keeping the headlamps from hazing up & sand pitting

I agree. Get the lights covered. If not you can do Bat's smoked overlays. I actualy have both haha. I got it because after 1 1/2 years the bumper was flawless, but my headlight started to slowly become pitted and hazed. I wanted it to stay nice and polished.

I had the dealer do the 3M clearbra before I picked up my new 05, I got the bumper/hood/fender/mirrors and also the lights done. three months later no chips in the paint but I do have 2 little marks on the bumper clearbra from rock hits.

I'm looking around to getting a clear bra installed on my G right now. I'm getting price quotes around $300 for the bumber and just under $600 for the full kit. Does this sound right for pricing?

Im using the Xpel headlight protection on my Cooper-S and they've saved my HID's
from numerous hits from pretty big rocks. since the G's lights are more angled I
don't plan to install them.
