Re: annual income requirement..?

well said Kong...

ppl finance cars all the time...i know a lot of ppl that make 50K a year that finances a 70K car...they are not using up all their income on a car....that would be rediculous...but if someone wants to...it's their choice...maybe the person is not paying the car themselves...what if the person have a spouse or gf/bf to help them too..??

why did everyone here that brought a coupe buy it..??...did they need it..??..neccessity..??....there are so many cars out there to choose from..cheaper cars...we all choose the coupe because it's a nice car...really really nice car...
i'm sure no one would by an expensive car if they can't afford it...they would buy a cheaper brand..
the topic of this thread.."annual income requirement"...is just what the topic states...
i could be making 30K a year....$200 per month in credit card payments and still afford a coupe...with a 5 year finace with 4.9% apr...$1000/6 month insurance rate...with my fiance helping too...
if i had a lot of credit card debt...i wouldn't even consider financing any car....but i have no debt...

how many ppl here financed their coupe..??

oh yea..i have the money to pay for the coupe....

Wow.. It appears the valuation of style over substance is in no short supply here! Or, maybe it's that I assess business risks and make opportunity-cost judgements all day long.. Kinda takes the rose coloring off one's glasses. Some of the debt load I hear being tossed around here is shocking - do you give up eating and wearing underwear or something? Oh - that's right you live at home and raid the old man's fridge.. That looks real good on a loan app.. as long as the folks cosign, huh?

I don't have 2 nickels to rub together, but my car sure is *fine*!

I'm not posting any more on this - it's a waste of space. If you want to call me a curmudgeonly @$$hole, please send email to jj2301@hotmail.com - if I feel like it, I'll answer.

Well, everybody's personal tastes are different, and some people make good financial choices, and some people make bad financial choices. Some of it's a learning experience. As long as you take insurance and gas and food and housing and whatever else you do in a month into account and line your ducks up before signing the contract, you're good. If you don't have a budget, you're not ready to buy the car.
