Question Tender Lovin' Care

Ok, I've read all about the clear bra, the Zaino, and even hanging a rug up in the 2 car garage to keep the G in pristine condition.

I'd like to hear from everyone about the other things that people do to keep their G safe and looking good.

I.e., Do you park at the very end of the lot where no other cars are? Do you pray or chant to keep your G safe? I had a friend tell me that they always parked next to a more expensive car.

Everyone has something they do... A special way you give your G a little TLC... What is yours?

The only stop my G makes is at the gas station and at the dealer during service.
I rarely park it anywhere unless it's at a gathering or something. I take another car
for shopping, commute, etc.

Just makes my life easier by spending a little more on a beater. I travel a lot
for business so don't want my G sitting in the vacant lot at the office or at
the airport..so just got a beater..plus, we use road salt here during the winter so
more meaning to getting another car for daily use.

I don't drive it. I park it in my garage and look at it all day.

Really p1ssed off

I picked up my 2005 Black Coupe on Thursday night with 14 miles on the clock. I've been babying it ever since and parking it a LONG way from anything else.

We took it shopping today. Parked way out in the lot near our local Staples. Nearest car was 4 spaces away and there were tons of other places to park. Went into the store for less than ten minutes. Came out and some b@stard had managed to ding the rear quarter on the driver's side hard enough to make a dime sized dent and a three inch by half inch set of scratches.

Needless to say they obviously didn't stay around to say sorry.

Unbelieveable. Still I believe in using my car, not locking it away, so I guess I have to take that one in the wallet.

Angry

Damn that suxs. I would be livid!

I saw some middle-aged woman parallel park in front of a 3 series BMW a couple of weeks ago. Backed right into the front bumper. If I wasn't in a rush to get to work, I'd have given her a load of crap and called the cops myself. Or, at least I would have left the BMW owner a note giving him a description of the car, and the license plate #. Man it got my blood boiling. You can't keep anything nice these days because other people just don't give a whoot.

or they do it on purpose... You don't need to lock away your car, but cars that
are modified have a time and place for it...just like jewerly. You don't take a $40K
to Walmart and expect to come out scratch-free. think that if you come out
scratch free, you were just lucky. If you want to live with that, that's great. I
just don't have the time to be messing around fixing little scratches
and dings..especially when I can just take another car to do chores/errands.
