Re: BS vs. DG..
false, i have DG myself, and i personally like it better, but my dealer told me the same thing that DG is harder to get, a lot of people have it. DG is a darker silver, thats how i describe it. at night it looks silver, in the daytime its more characoal. to me BS is a color that so many other makes have that it doesn't stand out, of course the end decision is yours.
Re: BS vs. DG..
I originally ordered the DG, but went for a cancelled BS. I was wishing I had the DG till recently. It's supposed to be not as common, but that's all I've been seeing lately.

I originally wanted Laser Red but then realized I'd have to factor in $2000/year for traffic tickets and lawyer fees. Don't get me wrong I love my DG coupe and I'm glad I got it. BS is definitely too common among other car types. I've seen one other DG Coupe. I've seen 2 Obsidians, 1 BS, and 1 LR.
The DG I would describe as more of a metallic grey. I'd go with the DG.
Obsidian was my third choice but it's so hard to keep clean, not saying that DG is all that easy to maintain either.
Will somebody turn off the frickin' East Coast rain so I can wash my car!!!

Re: BS vs. DG..
I chose the BS because it was the only silver that they had on the lot. My choices between the two were BS, and DG. Both were nice, and both were sold fast at the dealers that i went to. I kept my deposit on both colors. I was lucky to stumble onto the BS....which is fine. The detailers at my work's parking garage recommended it rather than the DG. Scratches or swirl mark are hard to see under silver or gold paint. Imo, the G looks nice in any color.

I had a choice between the two as well...I chose the BS cause I thought that the color just seemed to "flow" better...mainly regarding the headlights. The BS seems to match the silver in the headlight casing whereas to me, it seems to stand out more on the DG...I'm just so sick of seeing every rice car on the road w/ some kind of takeoff on the altezza lights...and the clear corners on the BS seemed to fit right in w/ the BS as well. I'm happy...that's all that counts.

Re: BS vs. DG..
i went with the DG because it was the first color that I saw in person and I was stunned at its exquisite metallic properties.
On another note, whenever anyone sees my car, they comment positively on the color FIRST.

Re: BS vs. DG..
Might as well include Desert Platinum in the discussion as well...
Personally, I felt the DG was a bit more... bland. I can't really think of the right word - "bland" isn't really an accurate description for ANY color on a G! Anyway, color being an extremely personal thing, I just felt the DG "blended into the crowd", whereas the Silver stood out more.
My first choice was Desert Platinum though... I absolutely love how the color changes in different light, but hey... the dealer said "You can pick up your BS Coupe on Monday, or wait
2 1/2 - 4 months for a DP Coupe." I didn't want to wait. ;-)

Re: BS vs. DG..
My dealer didn't have a coupe in either color, so I looked at the sedans side-by-side.
Might be an option for you. Made my decision easier. I went with the silver, mostly because I personally liked the color on the car better, and because I already have another car in gray.

Re: BS vs. DG..
This took me many moons and many friends to decide.
I initially wanted white.... white tends to showcase the entire cars shape really well, which makes the car look very modern and expensive, and the pearl is gorgeous and understated super quality paint.
BUT
my lady says it looked feminine (not my opinion but that swayed me)
then onto DG or silverstone.
the absolutely most gorgeous color in the direct sunlight with alot more color transitions from the hood and roof to the sun hit fenders ...absolutely stunning, super expensive looking and not too hard to keep clean
BUT the color tends to take on a paler flatter look in the shade or a overcast day.
ONE friend of mine had the nerve and oddasity to call it Corolla grey.(sorry Rami) (needless to say I slapped him)
Brilliant silver and blue and red faded in and out of the picture for me as I found the silver quite common (GORGEOUS none the least just more common, blue .. well I like a darker richer blue and I saw a sedan in the blue and it wasnt for me. RED on the other hand is WICKED, but very red and I wanted something not so in your face.
I got black for many reasons ...yes it is hard to keep clean (VERY) and the FULL shape is hidden more so at night as obviously opposed to white.
Black is bad in every sense of the word and I felt it was the one for me.
either way
if I was to do it all over again, I'd probably go DG or silverstone, IF I couldnt get black
OR wait for the Dark Blue ... that'll look WICKED
