stock exhaust tip long on one side
stock exhaust tip long on one side
I've noticed that my driver-side exhaust tip sticks out about an inch or so longer than the passenger side. I think it hangs a bit lower as well. (No $exual comments please ; ))
Does anyone else have this on their G?

likely the muffler is not 'hung' correctly
the tips are both mounted to the muffler, but the exhuast only connects on one side (single pipe) on the drivers side. The muffler is 'hung' by 3 rubber isolation mounts
one at each side in the rear, and a 3rd just forward of the muffler on the passenger side (opposite of the side the pipe comes in on) I would be willing to bet it isn't hung in the isolation mounts correctly (or something is bent) mine sure wasn't like that.
If it is pushing a mount (i.e. not hanging straight down) you jerk it around to square it up... if it is the 3rd mount, it can be loosened with a 12mm socket to help shift it.
If the 'hangers' are jammed in the mounts but not properly seated, spray them with a little WD40 so the 'hanger' can move more easily and then adjust.
