here is another angle to show how high is really was off the trunk lid

It looks about the same height off the trunk as his, maybe a bit smaller.

Thank you....I don't understand this board - I stopped coming to this board for about 6 months because of the same reason. This board just seems to be filled with idiots who just don't get it. I've seen dozens of people get slammed the minute they try to push the envelope and try something different. Isn't that what a "Tuner" does - push the envelope. Who wants to be in the flock of SHEEP...not me. You - haters - need to ease up with your "rice" crap. I took this car out to an SCCA Event where "real" racers go - and they loved everything - even the wing. I value their opinion much more than the fools on this board.

But - I do admit - the wing is much larger than I wanted - but getting wings for this car is a true challenge. I can always simply swap my stock deck and wing at any time.

Hey man dont take it so personal. I used to get bashed all the time for my lil wing on my IS, but who cares. If you like it, its your ride and theirs always ppl who are going to comment negatively.

Now, on the other hand, I like your car a lot and would love to see a shot of the rear. If you dont want to post it here thats completly understandable, but could you e-mail it to me... Lex2569@hotmail.com

Which you should do YESTERDAY. Why install a wing which isn't proven to have any effect in aerodynamic stability. When you can just use the stock spoiler which has proven zero lift (with the proper matching aero bits). You wanted impressions and that is what you got. Some people will like it and some will not. I called it "Rice" because that is the most common term for flashy looking cars that are configured to maximize "bling" factor without thinking about performance. This doesn't apply to your overall car since you are doing all those power mods but I think it is safe to say that some of the exterior bits in my opinion fall into that category. But, if you are happy then that is all that matters!

"Zero lift" has not actually been proven as beneficial. When I viewed the "Best Motoring" video from Japan(riceland) of the 350Z. The testers comment of "Zero Lift" is that it is not as good as true "downforce" from a race wing.... and ..big ups to IS300...I'll take some pics of the rear and send them to you.

I never got to see the pics either.

I have to agree that wings are cheesy. Everytime I see one on a kids car it always gives me a good laugh.

There is a punk kid across the street working on his older mitsubishi eclipse with lambo doors, kit, and huge rear wing. He can barely get the thing up his driveway. I hope he's planning on painting it, it has been months. He also has the loudest most annnoying exhaust. I live in a good neighborhood and you can here this punk coming and going about every half hour. People are moving out left and right.

I was going to go take a pic, but it looks like his is gone. Probably parked up on *** Hill again with his lambo doors open for all to see and go oooooooh aaaaaah. He'll be back!
